Over Hundreds of Tibetans and supporters including Chinese activities gathered at Martin Place in Wynyard Sydney today to commemorate the 60th anniversary of National Uprising Day of Tibet and marched from Martin Place to the Chinese Consulate at Camperdown to protest against the lack of Human Rights in Tibet.
The 10th March 2019 marks the 60th anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising against Chinese rule in 1959 and the 60th year of Tibetan exile, after tens of thousands of Tibetans followed the 14th Dalai Lama across the highest mountains in the world following his escape in the dead of night as his home came under fire from Chinese troops.
