Prostration in Tibet is an important expression of devotion to Tibetan Buddhism. Prostrating is practicing one of Buddhism's three Jewels for Tibetan Buddhists. Tibetan pilgrims prostrate themselves by lying face-down on the ground and stretching out their arms and legs so as to earn merit.

Buddhist wheel of life or Bhavacakra is one of the most important paintings in Tibetan Buddhism; the initial drawing was design by Buddha himself. Buddha really encourages this painting to be painted outside every Buddhist temples and monastery. Former Tibetan political prisoner sentenced to 18 years
The Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD) expresses deep concerns over the condition and whereabouts of a former political prisoner and his wife who had been secretly sentenced to 18 years and two years respectively in Sog (Ch: Suo) County, Nagchu (Ch: Naqu) Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region, the Tibetan province of Kham.

March for Tibet to mark National Uprising Day
Over Hundreds of Tibetans and supporters including Chinese activities gathered at Martin Place in Wynyard Sydney today to commemorate the 60th anniversary of National Uprising Day of Tibet and marched from Martin Place to the Chinese Consulate at Camperdown to protest against the lack of Human Rights in Tibet.

Norbulingka - The Summer Palace of Dalai Lama
Norbulingka, the Dalai Lama's former summer palace constructed in the 18th century, is located on the bank of the Lhasa River about 2km west of the Potala Palace in a lush green environment. It comprises a large garden with four palace complexes and a monastery as well as other halls, and pavilions all integrated into the garden layout to create an exceptional work of art covering 36ha. The property is closely linked with religious and political issues, having been a place for contemplation and for signing political agreements.
